Who decides what gets published?
The GarageFloor Lab editorial team. Advertisers, affiliate partners and suppliers have no say in it.
Do you accept payment to feature products?
No. We do not run sponsored articles, paid guest posts, paid link placements or paid reviews.
How do you earn money, then?
From display advertising placed automatically by third-party networks, and from affiliate commissions on some links. We never see the ads in advance, and a commission has never decided a recommendation. We frequently recommend options that pay nothing, and sometimes advise readers not to buy yet.
Where do your facts come from?
Manufacturer documentation, published standards, official guidance and hands-on experience in garage floor coatings, garage flooring and garage storage. We do not invent figures. When something varies by place, product or season, we show a range and say what moves it.
Is any of it written by software?
Software may help with research, outlining, editing and illustration. Every article is directed, fact-checked and approved by a human editor who is accountable for it, and generated images are labelled as illustrations rather than photographs.
What if you get something wrong?
We correct it on the page and add a dated note. Tell us through the contact form and include a source if you have one.
Do you moderate comments?
Yes. We remove spam, abuse and promotion. Disagreeing with an article is not a reason for removal, and good corrections in comments often end up in the article.
Can I rely on prices and specifications in articles?
Treat them as correct on the day written, and confirm with the supplier. Our Disclaimer explains the limits.
